Children's Ministry

Newborn - 5th grade

Greenhouse is our ministry for kids ranging in age from newborn through 5th grade.  Greenhouse classes meet on Sunday morning during the 9:00 church service and the 10:45 service.  Just check-in your kiddos at one of our check-in stations on Sunday morning & send them off into an environment of loving adults, fun activities & games, and lessons in which they experience the life God has created them to live!

Sunday Mornings

What to expect

On a normal Sunday Morning Service, 9 am & 10:45 am, we start with check-in.  After checking in with one of our leaders in the Family Room, kids will have free play time, followed by a large group time. In large group, preschool through fifth grade kids come together for a time of singing, worship, and fun. After that, kids dismiss to small groups by age for teaching time from the Bible and fun activities to connect to the day’s lesson. Parents pick kids up in their classrooms after the service.

The last Sunday of each month is FAMILY SUNDAY! On Family Sunday all kids Kindergarten and up join the adults in the main service. We sill offer preschool class and nursery for the little ones. We value Family Sundays; they teach kids the importance of gathering together with all ages, and they remind our older folks how important our kids are.

We value connection. We have an amazing team of adults and teenagers who love to connect with the kids. We work towards consistency with volunteers, so the kids know who their leaders are each week, and, more importantly, the leaders get to know each kid.
We value each child. We strive to make sure every kid feels seen, known, safe, and loved, and we try to make sure they hear the message of Jesus’ love each week. We try hard to accommodate the needs and learning styles of all children.
We value families. The more we can help families grow together and help parents disciple their kids, the better! We work to provide resources and ideas to help families in their faith journey.

VBS & 6th Grade Adventure Week

One of our favorite things at ClearView is Vacation Bible School!  We host VBS in the summer for one week, usually towards the end of June.  We sing, play, create, learn, and laugh like crazy! All kids preschool through fifth grade are welcome!

ClearView also has an Adventure week for our 5th graders that are entering into 6th grade the same week as VBS. During this week we take about 20 students out on adventures to prepare them for the next step to middle school.  We have a day of team building, a hike day, the ropes course at Noah's Ark, a rock climbing & repelling day and a swim day.

Family Nights

Every quarter (4-times a year) we do a family night.  This is a time for families to come together to have dinner, worship Jesus and have some fun fellowship with other families.  We always have a ton of fun playing games and make great memories.  Be on the look out for these fun family nights!
